World look out for Boho Chic SA , a young and hip local brand created by 3 young black female entrepreneurs who make hand-made goods from room deco to jewelry, DIY clothing tutorials on Youtube and designs.
Trecia Nabeeha, Rutendo Rue Masasi and Nkosazana Zaza Hlalethwa started Boho Chic as a way of making extra money for basic student needs. Zaza states that they are 3 black girls in university who are trying to show the fact that it is almost impossible to rely solely on your degree because of the uncertainty on how that is going to end up in the near future.
We are all about sustainability, initiatives and entrepreneurship”
Boho Chic ranges from making hand-made goods, accessories and have recently started a swim wear line.
They are all about making affordable, beautiful accessories for women of all shapes and sizes. Though these ladies are different what they have in common is that they love to use their hands.
Not only does Boho Chic make things from scratch but they give people an opportunity to make the items themselves. They have DIY videos on Youtube for those who can’t afford it or can’t get a hold of the products.
We make it possible for the Youtube viewers to do it themselves”
